Overview

team is the UK’s largest branded group of independently owned estate agents covering predominately, central and southern England and Wales. The group consists of around 300 independently owned estate agent companies working together as a collective vehicle to sell primarily mid-range properties.

Client Need

team always had an advantage over it’s competition with multi-listing. Essentially a powerful computer network which links all branches, multi-listing means that a vendor doesn’t just instruct one agent, but over 300 branches.

What team lacked was a high profile, centralised brand to stand behind. At the time, all members of team were still independently branded.

In the spring of 2006 the ‘Blue Sky’ brand was born, with the intention of bringing a fresh new brand to the property market, uniting all 300 plus branches under one single banner and strengthening team’s market position.

Yet the single brand brought potential problems. As with a franchise network, how would team ensure that there was consistency to the brand across this large network and how best to support the membership with print for the property sector?

Solution

besley & copp were initially instructed to provide design & print services to the whole team network, supplying corporate stationery, marketing collateral and Point of Sale.

Following the successful launch of ‘Blue Sky’, besley & copp were given the opportunity to extend the partnership by providing team with a replacement to their existing marketing hub solution. The new “team Marketing Resource” was established, fully branded in team livery, but powered by besley & copp’s powerful eProcurement platform ‘eSP’.

The eSP not only gave individual members the ability to find and personalise operational and marketing collateral quickly and easily, but it also allowed team to protect the brand with minimal central management. And because eSP is web based, team users can access the resource whenever and wherever they are.

The “team Marketing Resource” carries hundreds of property print items for along with easy to use templates for marketing collateral that can be digitally printed in small numbers at the agents office or centrally by besley & copp.
